SUMMARY OF BENEFITS
Benefits are a big part of your total compensation package. We strive to offer our employees competitive
benefits to accompany their wages. The list below highlights our current benefits offerings.
GTC is self-insured and uses the Blue Cross/Blue Shield network. The healthcare plan is administered by a
third party administrator, Regence Group Administrators (RGA). For Hawaii employees only, the healthcare
plan is administered by Kaiser Permanente. GTC offers a bundled health plan package for all eligible
employees; which includes Medical, Dental, Vision and Pharmacy Benefits.
HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)
The HSA is designed to work in conjunction with the high deductible health plan and is administered by
Bank of America. An HSA is a savings account that the company and employee contribute to.
This program offers all employees an opportunity to save for their retirement. Employees can contribute
up to 60% of their pre-tax earnings, and the company will match dollar for dollar of your contributions up
to 3% of your income.
GTC offers vacation time off to eligible employees. The amount of awarded vacation is dependent upon
tenure with the company. Eligibility to take accrued vacation begins after 12 months of employment.
PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
GTC also offers Paid Time Off (PTO) to eligible employees for unexpected illnesses, emergencies, a day off
to relax or for any other reason and/or as per state law/s. Check with Human Resources to discuss eligibility
requirements; our PTO benefit is in compliance with the respective state paid sick leave laws.
GTC offers eligible employees an employer-paid basic group term life policy equal to one times the
employee’s annual salary. This benefit is free to you!
SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE INSURANCE
Eligible employees may also purchase additional life insurance for themselves and their dependents.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
This program provides confidential counseling, assessments, and referrals to a variety of resources
to eligible employees and their dependents that may have personal or professional concerns. Services
are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and members receive up to 3 sessions of free
consultation annually per person.
GTC offers the following paid holidays to eligible employees: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
GTC offers full-time employees up to three (3) consecutive work days due to the loss of a close family member.
VOLUNTARY SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY
Short-term and/or Long-term Disability is available through a payroll deduction to eligible employees. This
plan serves as an income supplement for those employees who cannot work due to a non-work related
injury or illness for a certain period of time. Employees may choose coverage levels within the plan to best
meet their needs and may voluntarily elect short-term, long-term disability or both if they wish. For our
Hawaii based employees, our temporary disability falls in line with HI TDI state requirements.
At times, we offer a signing bonus starting at $2000 to qualified candidates at locations across our network.

WORK BOOT REIMBURSEMENT
Up to $100 towards workboot replacements are made on an annual basis.
PAID MANUFACTURER'S TRAINING
Both on-line and instructor led*, we offer our technicians access to training on the products that come in
to our shop. Ongoing Factory training certifications keep you trained on all of the latest changes in technologies.
*Travel may be involved for some instructor led training in which case the company covers the cost associated
with that travel.
PAID CDL TRAINING
Available based on department need, we offer paid CDL training to technicians who meet insurability
requirements and have the desire to earn their Commercial Driver's License.
COMPANY PROVIDED PPE AND COVERALLS
Your work coveralls as well as safety glasses and hearing protection are provided by the company. We
also provide weekly professional cleaning for coveralls.
We recognize the value of assisting its employees in furthering both their educational goals and
employment opportunities within GTC. GTC is pleased to offer an Education Assistance Program to
qualified employees. The program is designed to reimburse employees for certain business-related classes
that are applicable to their current job or another opportunity within GTC.
